So I am a horrible friend and have not posted pictures of my gem's going away party. She is now living in NY. I miss her terribly. It's like we are doing a long distance relationship. Oh my heart. But as I look at these pictures, I will remember the awesome laughs & most powerful God talks that we had. Cheers Bitty.

Fashion Friday

I've realized that I haven't posted anything since last Friday. I need to blog more..

Have you ever been out in town, seen someone wearing a really rad outfit and wanted to know where they got it from? You type in google such thing like "gold shorts" but you cannot find any like the ones you saw on that girl in the mall. Or maybe that is just me? I know sometimes I want to walk up to girls (which I have in the past) and ask them where they got there clothes from. Then sometimes I just want to go home with them and shop out of their closet. Well now I can, and so can you. I have discovered this amazing app on my Iphone called Poshmark. (http://www.poshmark.com) Women all over the country are selling their cloths and accessories right out of their closet. Some are asking for ridiculous prices, while others are way too nice. But I do not mind those generous people who are selling their Betsey Johnson purse for $45. With all said, you must download this app. It's like Ebay, but better. You're welcome.

Fashion Friday

I love fashion. There are so many styles in the world. The way you wear your hair, cloths, & shoes expresses who you are. I have changed my style so many times, and still changing. I have decided that on every Friday I will share a part of my fashion world.

Lately I have been on kick of putting braids and twists in my hair. It gets really hot here in Florida during the summer. With this, I tend to wear my hair up a lot, but with some flair. Here are some that I really like.

God is my oath

Today we celebrated a birthday of a wonderful woman of God, my sister in law Betsy. It was hosted by our cousin Sarah at her beautiful home. Betsy is married to her wonderful best friend, Brian. She is also mother of 4 beautiful girls, Hannah, Kasey, Shelby and Faith.There are so many words to express about Betsy. Her name means God is my oath. She has such a servant's heart for the Lord and others. She is passionate and puts others before herself. I am glad not to only call her family, but as my amazing friend.

Causal Rainy Tuesday

Thrifty Smifty. I always find great bargains at tops stores such as Target, Urban Outfitters, Forver 21 & so on. I used to hit up the clearance rack, still do some times, like no other. My mother gave some good advice about shopping a few years ago. She advise that I buy a whole outfit for each month. So I decided to give away all of last years cloths & begin a whole new wardrobe. Today was muggy, humid, & rainy. But that gave no excuse to not look cute though. Casual yet still appealing to the eye.

With my hair it's a lace front. Even with it not being my real hair, it acts like real hair and frizzes up. Today it didn't frizz up. So I put nothing in it :)

I actually bought these earrings from a thrift store in Indiana. My husband has family that live there. We traveled to Fort Wayne last September for a festival and his grandfather's 95th birthday.

 

And last but very not least, today my girl is a month old! She is so silly.

Our Beginning

I married my best friend, Nathan December 4th 2010. We met at a missions conference. 1 month later we were engaged, 6 months later married, & 4 months later pregnant. We welcomed our beautiful Yovella January 31st 2012. Our life has been such a fun and exciting ride. It only gets better second of our lives. Nathan is an awesome man of God, who is a songwriter, carpenter, & loves life to the fullest. I am a stay at home mom/wife, who loves photography, a dancer, and has big dreams.

I moved away from my homeland Georgia to the sunny side of Pensacola, FL. To be honest the first year was very difficult. Being away from loved ones and not knowing a lot of people was not in mind when I made the move. But the Lord brought in the good friends at the right moment, especially my best friend Brittany. This awesome woman of God was a perfect match for a friend. It makes it easier when you share the same likes and sometimes dislikes with someone. (Someone that isn't your husband)
